Phoebe is Cleo's pet rabbit. She's a tan "mini-lop," but that seems to be an uncertain term. She weighs in at a hefty ten pounds.

Phoebe is litterbox-trained. Yeah, you can do that with rabbits. Mostly. Phoebe has full run of the apartment, like a cat or a dog.

Rabbits are great housepets! If you want to know more, check out the

But, please! Don't run out and get a rabbit without doing your research!

Like any pet, they have their quirks and you need to be responsible and learn whether or not they're the pet for you.

You have to watch, say, any wires or electrical cords you have around. Rabbits tend to, um, chew them up. Phone cords, computer cables... they can wreak havoc, not to mention die from a huge electrical shock. Also wood furniture. They can definitely be destructive pets. So they need boundaries and/or close supervision.

That said, rabbits are so so amazing! They're sweet, they're cuddly, and just too cute! Baby rabbits are better than TV! They jump and twitch mid-air... hilarious!

Watch a rabbit clean his or her ears. Adorable. Rabbits are great!

They'll sit with you, sleep with you, follow you around. They're "pack animals" and love company. So don't get one if you're never home. Just because they're quiet, doesn't mean they don't have emotional needs.

Definitely great companions. House rabbits. Save one today. Or rather, tomorrow - after you've learned more about whether or not one will fit into your household.
